Telangana Government Permits Private Hospitals To Conduct pandemic Tests

Following the rise of the positive cases of the ongoing pandemic, the Telangana government decided to increase the count of the pandemic tests to detect the virus.KCR said that, in the coming week, 50,000 tests will be conducted.

The government has also fixed prices for the pandemic tests and the private hospitals were also permitted to conduct the tests so that the types of equipment of the private hospitals can also be used.

While the cost of pandemic tests will be costing Rs 2,200 and treatment for the pandemic at a corporate hospital per day is fixed at Rs 4,000.

On the other hand, treatment for ICU patients with ventilator support is fixed at 9,000 per day, and without ventilator support is fixed at Rs 7,500 per day.
