The Telangana High Court has once again slammed the state government and found fault with ambulances stopped at the border. On Friday, the High Court made serious comments against the government.
The High Court on Friday suspended the orders issued by the Telangana Government regarding ambulance entry into the state. The suspension of the Government Orders will remain in place till further orders, the Court said.
The ambulance row has once again reached the Telangana High Court after a House Motion Petition was filed on Friday. Hearing the petition, the Court expressed severe dissatisfaction with the governmentâs behavior.
Questioning why the ambulances were stopped at the borders despite the orders, the Court questioned will you(government) change the Constitution. When the National Highways are under the purview of Centre, how can the government stop the ambulances, the Court questioned.
The Court asked the government if it sought the required permissions from the Centre to stop the vehicles on National Highways. Who will take the responsibility for this, the Court asked.
Staying the orders issued by the Telangana government, the High Court adjourned the next hearing in the case to the 17th of this month.
This is not the first time the High Court slammed the government over ambulance row. Earlier this week, the High Court ordered the government to not stop the ambulances coming for treatment.
