Amid Telangana assembly sessions, one more MLA in Telangana has tested positive for Covid-19. MLA Jaffar Hussain found positive after the officials conducted coronavirus tests for the second time for all the MLAs on the Assembly premises. Along with MLAs, the media personnel and police officials were also tested for the virus.
So far, 13 policemen on assembly duty have got COVID positive. Many ministers, MLAs and leaders have already recovered from the corona. Recently, Finance Minister Harish had informed that he had recovered from the deadly infection.
On the other hand, the health department revealed that 1,417 positive cases have been registered in Telangana recently. Thirteen people lost their lives with Covid in a single day yesterday. As many as 2,479 people recovered from the virus and discharged. The death toll rose to 974. The number of discharges so far has reached 1,27,007. There are currently 30,532 active cases in the state.
