Telangana: Vaccine doses dispatched to districts for vaccine drive

The wait for the historic massive Coronavirus vaccination program is finally over. The massive vaccination will be started from the 16th of January, as earlier announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

With just, two days left for the massive vaccination drive, the vaccine doses have left from the manufacturing units to the respective states, going by their vaccine allotments.

The shipment of the Covid-19 vaccine doses has already reached Telangana. More than 3.7 lakh vaccine doses against the Coronavirus were shipped to the state which arrived on January 12.

Upon reaching the Samshabad International Airport in a cargo flight, the shipment was shifted to the Koto Covid centre. Later, the consignment received a traditional welcome.

The officials have divided the Hyderabad area into two divisions to send the vaccine doses. Hyderabad 2 received the highest number of doses with 18070, followed by Hyderabad 1 with 12,000 doses.

To roll out the Coronavirus vaccine, the concerned authorities have finalised 1,213 centres across the state for the vaccination drive which will be started on the 16th of January, along with other states.

Elaborate arrangements have been made by the authorities to see that, the vaccination drive across the state will be carried out without any issues and problems.
