Telugite Convicted For Sexual Offences In UK!

In an unwanted trend, Indians living abroad are hitting the headlines for the wrong reasons. At regular intervals, we are hearing news about Indian-origin people indulging in crimes. Earlier, a man was found guilty of cheating his former company. Now another incident joined the list in which an Indian-origin man was convicted of sexual harassment offenses.

Going into details, Raghu Singamaneni is a Telugu-origin person who is staying in the United Kingdom. He is from Luton and he is said to have two massage parlors. The Telugu person is dubbed as a serial offender and he was convicted of raping and sexually assaulting women. He was slapped with a jail term of 19 years.

On different occasions, the Telugu person raped and sexually assaulted women and a court convicted him. He tried to rape a teenage girl when she approached him for a job. He reportedly offered her wine and when she was in an intoxicated state, Raghu tried to rape her.

In two other incidents, the Indian-origin man sexually assaulted two teenagers. While one of them applied for a job, the other was reportedly raped. After making her drink alcohol, he pounced on her.

In another incident, Raghu is said to have raped a woman. On the pretext of offering a job, Raghu met the woman and raped her in a hotel room.

The serial offender's case came to light when the four victims moved the concerned authorities. Later the issue reached the court and the Wood Green Crown Court convicted for different charges.
