It is known that Nara Lokesh, the National General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) started a state-wide padayatra named Yuva Galam. It's been more than 90 days since the yatra was started and it has been going on strongly. TDP leaders and cadre are happy with the response the padayatra is receiving.

During the yatra, Nara Lokesh made some serious allegations against Kurnool MLA Hafiz Khan and alleged that the ruling party legislator encroached on a big amount of land in the region. His comments increased the political heat in the state and the MLA was not happy with the allegations of Lokesh.

Tension gripped the Kurnool region with this. The MLA hit back at the allegations and dared Nara Lokesh to prove them. To prove his innocence, Hafiz Khan an oath on the Quran and also invited Lokesh to come to the local mosque for a discussion. The MLA said that he came to politics to serve people and not make money.

Well, the issue did not stop there and the MLA tried to stop the Yuva Galama padayatra to ask Nara Lokesh to come for a discussion on the allegations the former Minister leveled against him. He was accompanied by his followers and YSRCP party activists during this.

YSRCP MLA Hafiz Khan reportedly staged a sit-in protest at the One Town area and due to the Yuva Galam padayatra tension gripped the area and the cops tried to stop the MLA from doing so. With the ruling party MLA not listening to them, the cops took the MLA and his supporters into custody.
