America-based Automotive company Tesla enjoys customers all over the world. When the Covid outbreak happened, the company spread its wings and extended its services to many nations. If everything would have worked as per the plan, Tesla would have entered India by now and started services here.

Due to various reasons, that did not happen. Now it is said that everything is going in the right place and Tesla might come to India soon. The discussions have started between Tesla and the Indian government and a positive outcome is expected from the key discussions.

As per the media reports, the discussions are going on to setting up a car factory in India. Massive investments would be made for the plant and at full scale the plant would manufacture 500,000 electric vehicles every year. The vehicles manufactured there might have a price of Rs 20 lakhs per vehicle.

Earlier, it was reported that Tesla did not accept the conditions of the Indian government and that is the reason for Tesla not coming to India and starting vehicle manufacturing here. Both parties could not come to a common opinion on vehicle manufacturing. As a result, Tesla did not come to India.

But it looks like things have changed now and Tesla and the Indian government are holding discussions on this. As both sides are showing interest reportedly, we might see the Electric vehicle manufacturing company making its way to India.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent US visit is said to have played a big role in this. Modi met Elon Musk and a few others. During the same, Narendra Modi is said to have urged Elon Musk to make an investment in the country. Following this, he would have started the talks.
