This is how Jagan planned for Vizag Capital

Update: 2019-12-21 04:34 GMT
It now emerges that AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has carefully and methodically planned his moves on the issue of three capitals. Months before he has gone public with his proposal, he has asked the officials in Vizag to collect information about vacant government lands and unused government buildings. He has done all of this under a project called "Build AP."

The officials identified the Millennium Tower in the Rushikonda IT Park on the Vizag-Bhimili Road for the camp office of the Chief Minister. This state-of-the art building with over 2 lakh sq ft of builtup area was built at a cost of Rs 145 crore. It has a parking space of 1.5 lakh sq. Feet.  Also, he has got all the other occupants of the Millennium Tower 2, which is close to the Tower 1, vacate the premises. This has happened three months ago. He has also taken back several acres of lands from IT companies. These lands were earlier given to various companies, but they did not put these lands to any use. This was done in such secrecy that no one had an inkling of YS Jagan's plan.

Sources say that the Government could take 70 acres of land belonging t former MLA Vishnukumar Raju  on rent to set up offices. In addition, 20 acres of land belonging to VMRDA, which is lying close to Rushikonda beach could also be used. Sources say that there are 1350 acres of land, which was given to Unitech Company near Kapuluppada. The Congress government gave these lands to the company but, the lands were later taken back as the company failed to set up the unit. These lands too could now be used for the capital construction works. Jagan's level of preparedness has left the opposition TDP completely shocked. They do not even have time to mobilise people to oppose the move.
