This State Wants To Shut Down Theaters With COVID-19

Following Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan calling for a shut downrn of all the movie theaters across the state with the outbreak of the rndeadly COVID-19, film producers and distributors in the god’s own rncountry have agreed to follow his request. The movie theaters in the rnstate will be shut down till March 31.

The new request from the rnCM was welcomed with around six new cases of the coronavirus being rnreported in the state. The official reports state that 12 positive casesrn were reported so far.

The producers and distributors guild in rnKerala will call for a review meeting on March 16 to discuss if any rnfurther arrangements were to be made as per the prevailing situations inrn the state.


If the reports are to be believed, there is a rnchance of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to follow the footsteps of Keralarn to shut down the theaters in the state for some time.
