This TRS MLA Is Turning Out To Government's Bitter Critic

Update: 2020-09-02 04:17 GMT
TRS Parakal MLA Challa Dharma Reddy's comments have become hot tops within the ruling party in Telangana. This MLA has openly criticized his government for non-payment of bills for the contractors. He has used the Warangal Municipal Corporation meet to vent his anger at the non-payment of the bills by the Telgnana Government.

Dharma Reddy, began as a small-time contractor and then graduated into a top-level contractor. Later, he joined politics and had won as an MLA from Parakal in 2014 on a TDP ticket. In the later developments, he left the TDP and joined the TRS. He was renominated by KCR in 2018 elections and he has won handsomely. During his first term as an MLA, he had also taken up several works under the Mission Kakatiya.

But, the non-payment of contract bills seems to have rattled him so much that he had criticized his  own party and raised the issue of delay in payments to the contractors right in the Warangal corporation. Many party MLAs wonder if he was still behaving like a TDP MLA. The MLA must realize he is in the ruling TRS and cannot criticize it, said a TRS leader. But, Dharma Reddy seems to be unrelenting as his bills amounting to huge sums, are still pending with the Government.
