Three Hyderabadi Cousins planned to join ISIS

About three cousins in a family were detained by Maharashtra's Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) at Nagpur airport on Saturday when they were about to board a flight to Srinagar. The arrests took place after receiving a tip-off from Intelligence wing of Telangana Government that the three youth were planning to join Islamic State or al-Qaeda.

The trio were identified as Abdul Basith, Omar Faruq and Maaz Hussain. Two of the three youths were Engineering dropouts and this isn't the first time they were arrested. In September last year, They were taken into custody in Kolkata when they planned to join ISIS via Bangladesh.

It is learnt that the Former SIMI Chief Syed Salahuddin happens to be the Uncle of the three youngsters. Mr. Syed breathed his last in October 2014 in a road mishap.

ATS is investigated who inspired the trio and who is helping them to join the Terror Organisation.
