TS High Court adjourns hearing on Rayalaseema Ettipotala project

The Telangana High Court which heard the petition filed on the Rayalaseema Ettipotala project on Wednesday adjourned the next hearing of the cases to 24 th of this month.

The case reached the court with petitioners and Congress leaders Vamshi Chand Reddy and Srinivas knocking on the doors of the High Court stating that the AP government is going ahead with the project against the directions of Centre and Krishna Water Board.

Lawyers representing the Andhra Pradesh government told the court that the investigation on this case is going on in the Supreme Court.

Leading infrastructure development company Subhash Projects and Marketing (SPML) got the coveted Rayalaseema Lift irrigation Scheme contract after the company made a bid with Rs 3,307.07 crore.

The AP government called for tenders for the project and the entire tendering project was carried out in the e-auction process. SPML stood as L-1 by quoting 0.88 percent High price.
