Talking about the infamous ESI Scam Vigilance and Enforcement SP Venkat Reddy made some sensational comments. He spoke with the media regarding the case and said that they have information that two former Ministers were involved in this scam.
He went on to say that they had managed the sewage plant against the rules. They even got bills in the name of plat even though the old hospital in Adoni was shifted. He added that a former Minister played a crucial role in this.
âThey got the contract by using fake quotations. They have purchased unwanted medicines and did not use them. Drugs in many hospitals were permitted to only godowns. Rules were also broken in paying bills. In the past five years, crores of rupees were misused,â he said.
"Acchenaidu has ordered to make an agreement with the Telehealth company. People who do scams don't have any consideration of Caste, Sex, and region. If Acchenaidu is from BC caste, doesn't the scam be investigated? All the government deals that happened after June 2, 2014, will come under the investigation of the SIT," Senior lawyer Ponaka Janardhan Reddy said.
