BJP MP Virendra Singh 'Mast' rejected US Visa after the Embassy Officials asked him to remove his 'turban' for the Visa documentation.
Annoyed with the treatment, Virendra Singh made it clear he doesn't want to visit a country which don't approve of what he is and what he represents. He treats the order of Embassy Officials as an insult to him, Indian farmers, Indian culture and tradition. 'How could I remove my Turban? I'm an Indian, Farmer and Kshatriya. My pride is in my turban. Can't compromise on it,' he told.
Mr.Singh revealed it was the US Embassy which appealed him to travel the developed nation to debate on Indian farmers and traditional farming practices. He was supposed to leave for US on Friday but dropped his plans because of the issue.
The Senior BJP Leader is going to send a letter to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj regarding the issue.
