The authorities responded quickly and tracing the details of people who might have come in contact with the tahsildar. The Tahsildar was being sanitized as a precautionary measure and other staff members were also tested for the virus.
The GHMC area was declared as the hotspot of the contagious disease with the area possessing the highest number of cases in the state so far. The other day, an employee who works in the fourth floor of GHMC's main office was infected with the virus.
