What Is DK Sivakumara Doing In Hyderabad?

Update: 2018-12-10 06:47 GMT
The Congress Party is in a strange dilemma. Overtly, it is claiming that it is going to win the Telangana elections hands down and is all set to form the government. It is quoting Lagadapati's survey and is claiming that the TRS would be down and out after December 11. But, internally, there is a furious debate as to whether the party will be able to get the required numbers. The party leaders feel that the Congress-led People's Front might fall short of some seats to form the Government.

So, the party's biggest money bag DK Sivakumara is still camping in the city. He is trying to get in touch with the independents who have a strong chance of winning and also some leaders from within the TRS. The Congress game-plan is to engineer a split in the TRS in case of a hung assembly. DK is already said to be in touch with SC leaders from the TRS and also the Kamma leaders within the party.

These leaders might switch sides to help the Congress. The Congress has also deployed Ghulam Nabi Azad to woo the MIM, which might win 6 to 8 seats and could emerge as a king maker. Though the MIM had backed the TRS in the runup to the elections, it might switch sides in the event of a hung assembly and the TRS trying to get friendly with the BJP.

So, Sivakumara and Azad working hard to ensure that they can cobble up Karnataka kind of alliance with the help of independents and the MIM to prevent the TRS and the BJP from coming to power.
