What is the purpose of holding AP Assembly?: Jagan

Update: 2015-03-23 15:30 GMT

YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy vented his anger on Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao passing a dictum to Opposition Leader asking him not speak on serious issues.

A while ago, Jagan took to his Twitter page to expresses his displeasure on the recent developments in AP Assembly. "As you can see, the moment farmers debt waiver came up, Speaker himself intervened, cut the mike, said you cant speak. If issues and allocations relating to farmers, DWCRA, jobs, fees reimbursement, housing, etc; issues relating to public cannot be discussed. What is the purpose of holding this AP Assembly? I had to reach out to Media to give my response to the budget," he told.

Apparently, Jagan and his party MLAs voluntarily walked out of AP Assembly after the suspension of 8 MLAs for objectionable behaviour in the House. How can the Opposition Leader blame Speaker and State Government now? Instead, Jagan and his 58 MLAs should have attended the House to express their views if they are really committed to resolve the people's issues.
