Noted Evangelist KA Paul had big dreams of leaving a mark in the elections. Sadly, he faced a big shock. The top election body in the country, the Election Commission Of India(ECI) poured water on his dreams and put a full stop to his big dream and political future.
As a crackdown on the parties which are not active, the Election Commission delisted over 200 parties across the nation, including KA Paulâs Praja Shanti Party. Saying that the parties are not active and they are not doing any activities, the EC derecognized them and also canceled their election symbol.
It is a big shock for KA Paul that the EC has derecognized his party. He has a lot of political ambitions and confidence that he can form the government in Andhra Pradesh. His confidence was to a point that he offered alliances with other parties.
Now it is interesting to know what KA Paul is up to now. If he wants to be in politics, then he has to go through the entire procedure of applying for a political party and a symbol. Later he has to run for the elections which are approaching. If his new party doesn't fall under the criteria mentioned by the Election Commission, then the new party would also taste the same fate.
If KA Paul wants to go far from politics, then he might have a lot of things to do. Paul shot to fame with his meetings and prayers with big leaders. He met former United States President Barack Obama and prayed for him. When Obama opposed the war in Iraq, Paul supported him and endorsed him.
KA Paul has been running a charity for a very long time and through the charity, Paul arranges for food and education for underprivileged people. His work is appreciated by one and all and he was granted an honorary degree from Living Word Bible College in Swan River, Manitoba, Canada.
During his peak days as an evangelist, KA Paul traveled across the world and visited many nations. So if KA Paul left no interest in politics, he might get back to the evangelist days and might take forward his good work.
