The recent Karnataka elections are a wake-up call for the Bharatiya Janata Party that the party cannot always win on the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The internal issues and the way the party functioned in the state left a big impact. As a result, the saffron party tasted a shocking defeat.
Learning from the mistakes, the BJP is focusing on making changes in the party in the states where the elections are due. After Karnataka, the party is strong in Telangana as the party won a few MLA seats and MP seats. So the party leadership is keeping a special focus on the state as the elections will be held in a few months.
Of late we have been hearing that the party might change the chief due to issues like internal fights and leaders reportedly not happy with Bandi Sanjay as he is said to be taking decisions on his own without making the leaders a part of this.
Earlier, the BJP Delhi leadership called the leaders to Delhi and it is reported that discussions were held on what is happening with the state wing of the party and what changes should be made in the party to give it a much-required boost. Changing the T-BJP chief was discussed reportedly.
Now we are hearing that there is a chance of the BJP likely replacing Bandi Sanjay with Dharmavarapu Kottam Aruna aka DK Aruna as the state chief. Bandi Sanjay might be made a Union Cabinet Minister. In the second cabinet, Kishan Reddy was given a cabinet post and Bandi Sanjay might also get the same.
DK Aruna is a senior politician and she is serving as the National Vice President of BJP. She earlier served as the Cabinet Minister and she has been in politics for quite some time. A lady leading the party might give a positive push for the party and this is said to have made the leadership look at Aruna as the replacement. If we have to take anything from the media reports then we might hear something big in this regard.
