Why are ministers silent on Tirupati?

Update: 2021-04-21 04:42 GMT
Is a cold war of sorts brewing among the ministers in Andhra Pradesh? While all the ministers owe their allegiance to YS Jagan, there appears to be a race to emerge as YS Jagan's closest acolyte. Each minister is trying to get closer to Jagan and at the same time, trying to undercut the influence of rival ministers.

Take for instance, the recent controversy over fake voters in Tirupati bypolls. This has become a huge issue and the YSRCP was on the dock. Yet, the job of defending the party was left only to minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy. None of the party loud mouths like Vijaysai Reddy, Anil Kumar and Kodali Nani spoke about it. They did not even take to the media and issue a statement. Even leaders from neighbouring Kadapa were mysteriously silent. Sources say that some ministers in the YSRCP are worried about the growing influence of Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy.

It is because of this that the YSRCP leaders from other parts, including the north Andhra have remained silent on the issue. They did not go hammer and tongs against the TDP and other opposition parties and defend the YSRCP.
