Why Mamta Didi Is Upset With Congress, CPM?

Update: 2020-01-09 17:23 GMT
Are cracks developing in the Opposition in its fight against Narendra Modi and the BJP? It appears so. West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress chief Mamta Banerjee has categorically said that she will not be part of the Opposition meet scheduled for January 13.

She is upset that both the Congress and the Left Parties had not confined themselves to slamming the BJP, but they also criticised the TMC government in West Bengal. Mamta, who did not like this, has decided to skip the Opposition meet. She has taken strong exception to the violence in West Bengal during the bandh on January 8.  She feels that the Left and the Congress had resorted to violence only to tarnish the image of the TMC. She is also realising that being friendly with both the Congress and the CPM could lead to reverse polarisation and will benefit the BJP. She feels that all the anti-Mamta voters would move towards the BJP as it is the only party that is opposing Mamta.

So, she has decided to skip the meeting both to prevent the BJP from emerging as an alternative and to teach a lesson to the Congress and the CPM. But, the opposition appears to have hit the Mamta road block.
