Why Stopping With 3 Capitals, Go For 25 Capitals: Pawan Kalyan

The capital issue in Andhra Pradesh is a sensitive topic in the state. The status quo of the Amaravati capital city changed at once after the YSRCP came to power. The YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led party which said yes to the proposal when it was in the opposition had changed its stand.

The ruling party is saying that decentralisation is the need of the hour and with this, the state will be developed rather than the Amaravati region getting developed alone. No matter what the opposition parties and the Amaravati farmers are saying, the YCP is going forward on this.

Even the yatra planned by the Amaravati farmers could not make the government change the decision. Not just that, but the ruling party members are trying hard to paint the ongoing Amaravati yatra sponsored by the opposition Telugu Desam Party. At regular intervals, the legislators are accusing the yatra of having vested interests.

On the flip side, a section of people and a few bodies are supporting the three capitals' move. They say that it is a good thing that the government wants to develop three regions instead of Amaravati. Farmers from Amaravati are alleging that the ruling party might be behind this.

All the opposition parties in the state are supporting the Amaravati model and are opposing the three capitals' idea. But the ruling party is going the other way and wants to go ahead with its plan.

Telugu Desam Party proposed the idea so it would support it. Pawan Kalyan's Janasena is also supporting the proposal and the leaders even said they will fight for the cause. Yet again, Janasena stood in solidarity with the Amaravti movement and took a dig at YSRCP.

Party chief Pawan Kalyan who has been aggressively targeting the Andhra Pradesh government has once again targeted the YCP and advised the party to go for 25 capitals each capital for the district. He also said as the party won't believe in the law and constitution, it can go for the same.

"If YCP feels decentralization is the Mantra for all round development then,Why confine only to three capitals for AP? Anyhow YCP believes & behaves as they are above Law, Judiciary, & Constitution. And they don't care a dime to what rest of the citizenry feels or says…," Pawan said on Twitter.
