Will Congress's Campiagn Success Translate To Votes In Munugode?

Update: 2022-10-20 06:33 GMT
The 29th state in the country Telangana has already seen a few intense by-elections and the youngest state in the nation is all set to witness one more intense ballot box battle with the Munugode by-election. In a few weeks, the by-election will be held and observers are giving their theories on who would win the polls.

The grand old Congress party took the elections prestigiously and fielded Palvai Sravanthi Reddy as the candidate. After considering various factors, Palvai Sravanthi Reddy, daughter of veteran Congressman Palvai Govardhan Reddy. The party is focusing on the campaign and giving its best in this regard.

Despite the senior leaders not taking part in the campaign and other activities, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee(TPCC) chief Revanth Reddy is guiding the campaign and sweating hard. In his recent campaign in Munugode, Revanth Reddy surprised everyone with his horse-riding skills.

The horse was well decorated and it has Congress stickers on it. Congress supporters are activities gone wild seeing Revanth Reddy riding a horse to campaign for the party. Revanth Reddy received a stunning welcome and Palvai Sravanthi Reddy met the locals and tok note of their problems.

We have to admit that the Congress's campaign in poll-bound Munugode was successful with a good presence of people. Sravanthi Reddy had a good interaction with the voters and they received her well as she comes from a Congress family and the grand old party had a strong cadre there.

The Congress cadre is confident that the success of the campaign would make the party win in the polls. But we have to wait and see if the success would translate to votes or not. Congress has a good cadre and a good number of activists.

Having a strong cadre is a favouring condition for Congress. However, TRS and Bharatiya Janata Party are regularly holding meetings to gather voters. At the meetings, the voters are provided food. Recently, the ruling TRS held a big meeting, and the Malkajgiri legislator Mynampally Hanumantha Rao took care of the arrangements.

On the other hand, it is said that money is being spent like water in the by-election and we have to admit that Congress is not in a position to do so. Despite this, if Congress can win the polls it would be a big thing.
