Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Alka Lamba slapped a Youth after he tried to misbehave with her in broad day light. The incident happened when the Legislator was surveying the haveli of Mirza Ghalib in Ballimaran area.
Alka Lamba: "He first smiled & looked at me in an inappropriate manner, then winked and later tried to get too close, after which I slapped him".
AAP Volunteers chased the man in his early 20s while he was running after receiving a tight slap and handed him over to Kotwali police. He then claimed to be mentally unstable but his family members failed to produce any concrete evidence on it.
Alka Lamba who is representing Chandni Chowk constituency shared the incident on her Twitter page and also posted the pictures of the youth. The accused was identified as Rajesh who is a resident of Baljeet Nagar area.
