2021 To Be 'Worst Humanitarian Crisis' In Decades

This year, 2020 was certainly a tough year for everyone due to the novel Covid-19 pandemic. People are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the vaccine next year, which will bring normalcy to the world.

However, the World Food Program (WFP) has warned that conditions will get worse in the new year. WFC chief David Beasley urged people to prepare themselves for another disaster. He predicted that 2021 would be one of the worst years in the history of the world, with severe droughts and hunger plaguing the world. He warned that the impact would be greatest in poorer countries.

World Food Program (WFP) chief David Beasley spoke during a special meeting on COVID-19 and said that 27 crore people in the world are starving and there will be a severe drought in 2021. He expressed concern that countries like Yemen, South Sudan and Syria would be severely changed. He said 2021 was likely to be the worst humanitarian crisis year since the beginning of the United Nations, 75 years ago.
