US Doctors are successful in performing  World's first Skull-scalp Transplant on a person who is suffering from a head injury caused due to Cancer treatment. This is also the first time a triple transplantation has been performed.

James Boysen, a 55-Year-Old Software Professional, had undergone a complex craniofacial tissue transplant and at the same time kidney & pancreas transplant took place. The photo of the patient has been released after the surgery and we could notice a layer on the head where the skull & scalp were attached.

Post the surgery, Boysen said he is grateful to the doctors who presented him another chance to live life the way he wanted to be and be with his loved ones.
