The style of targeting people and cheating them had changed. After cyber crimes and attacks, honey traps came into the picture. We have seen many instances where victims were honey-trapped. Usually, the trap is used for people holding big positions in the Navy and Army to get crucial information.

But the trend has changed now and common people are also falling into the trip. In one such incident, a doctor fell into the trap. The shocking thing is that it was the son of a ruling party Sarpanch who planned this with the help of a woman. This shocking incident happened in Telugu state.

Going into details, this happened in Kavali town in Andhra Pradesh. There is a doctor in the town who works at a private hospital. He somehow befriended a woman who came to the hospital and the friendship brewed with time.

The woman is also a friend of a YSRCP Sarpanch's son. Somehow she told him that the doctor is showing interest in her. After hearing this, he wanted to cheat the doctor and threaten him to give money. For this, the woman and the Sarpanch's son came up with a big plan.

The woman informed Sarpanch's son where she is going with the Doctor. Later Sarpanch's son appeared there in Police dress and threatened to file a case. He even told the two to come to the Police Station. But the doctor pleaded with him to not take the matter to the PS and settle here.

With this, Sarpanch's son in Police dress demanded 10 lakhs and the doctor said he doesn't have that much money and gave it wherever he has and also sent some money online. Later he realised that he was cheated and the details of the Google Pay number is not of a Police officer.

He approached the concerned cops and filed a case. Following this, Sarpanch's son was taken to the police station for questioning. However, the accused is believed to have been released from the station. It is believed that the accused's father might have used the contacts for this. On top of this, no announcement came from the Police on the case.
