The YS Vivekananda Reddy case saw a big development with the High Court of Telangana ordering the cancellation of the bail of Erra Gangireddy, A-1 accused in the case. He was also directed to surrender before the Police before the 5th of the next month or else he will be arrested.
Amid this, the bail petition of Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy was heard by the High Court. Lawyers representing the MP and Viveka"s daughter Sunitha Reddy appeared for the hearing and placed their arguments in the court.
The lawyer representing Avinash Reddy told the court that the CBI is dependent on Google Take Out and it cannot accurately tell the location. Saying that Takeout can only tell what is the location of the device, the counsel said that it cannot tell where the person is and there will be a difference of 20 meters in location.
Sunitha"s lawyer countered this and said that Viveka"s house is just 500 meters away from Avinash"s house and reportedly said that the accuracy of the location would be close to this and also mentioned the point that Viveka"s death was reported as a heart attack though there are wounds on his body. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the court postponed the further hearing to tomorrow.
It has to be mentioned here that Google Takeout is playing a big role in the case. The CBI arrested a few people based on the location. Uday Kumar Reddy who was recently arrested was nabbed with the same technology reportedly. But now Avinash"s Lawyers raised doubts about the same technology. Moreover, the lawyer also asked how Dastagiri can be made an approver in the case.
