The central agencies are known for their fast pace in proving the cases that are allotted to them. That is the reason why crucial cases are given to agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigation. Despite this YS Vivekananda Reddy's murder is yet to be cracked. Earlier, the CBI reportedly informed the court that the accused joined hands with the local Police.
After the case was transferred to Telangana, the case started seeing progress in the investigation. Now the ongoing developments say that the CBI is focusing on recording statements in the case. One after the other, the officers are recording the statements of people.
Recently, Vivekananda Reddy's daughter and son-in-law's statements were recorded by the CBI. Now it is said that the statements of four more people were recorded. Inayatulla, who worked as a computer operator with Vivekananda Reddy for a long time was reportedly questioned by the agency.
Inayatulla was reportedly grilled for four long hours and later his statement was recorded. He was the one who reportedly shared the pictures of Viveka with the family members and he was earlier questioned by the cops. Now the CBI also grilled him and recorded his statement.
As per the information, the CBI also grilled three managers who work with the Tummalapalle uranium mine to get information about Gajjala Uday Kumar Reddy, who is facing allegations of playing a key role in calling the ambulance and bandaging Vivekananda Reddy's injuries.
Recording new statements in the case has a bigger relevance in the case. Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy has been alleging that he has no role to play in this and he is being framed. The Ruling party MP recently said that he is innocent in the case and he is being wrongly framed by the CBI.
A few YCP leaders are also saying the same and even predicting his arrest. Proddatur MLA Siva Prasad Reddy said that the MP might even get arrested and he will come out with a clean chit in the case.
As the MP and a few party leaders are alleging that he is being wrongly framed, the CBI might be thinking that it should get the required statements recorded and later the investigation can go forward. Earlier, Dastagiri's statement resulted in a few developments and we have to wait and see what happens now.
