YS Viveka Case: CBI gets a Big Win in High Court!

Update: 2022-08-01 14:44 GMT
The investigating agency Central Bureau of Investigation is dealing with the much-talked-about death case of former MP Y S Vivekananda Reddy. More than the case investigation, the agency is now fighting hard to see that the accused won't get bail. The issue reached the High Court of Andhra Pradesh earlier today.

As a major win for the CBI, the Andhra Pradesh High Court said no to the bail petitions filed by the accused in the case. Bail petitions filed by Y Sunil Yadav, G Umashankar Reddy, and Devireddy Shiv Shankar Reddy were refused. Satisfied by the arguments of the CBI lawyer, the High Court said no.

For the past few weeks, the CBI lawyer has been saying that if the accused gets bail then they can influence the witnesses and the case investigation would get affected.

The Central Bureau of Investigation is trying its level best to satisfy the court saying that the accused cannot be given bail. In the lower court too, the CBI lawyer said the same, and the local court did not grant bail for the accused.

Now the same happened with the Andhra Pradesh High Court as well. Noting that the CBI Lawyer had a possibility and the angle cannot be ruled, the court did not accept the bail petition.
