YSR Congress Legislator Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy was arrested on the early hours of Sunday in connection with the case related to attack on Venkatachalam MPDO Sarala.
The other day MPDO Sarala lodged a police complaint accusing Kotamreddy of barging into her house and attempted to attack her. Police registered a case and took the Ruling Party MLA into custody upon collecting evidence.
Actually The issue between Kotamreddy and Sarala is regarding the Water Connection for the Layout of GVR Krishna Reddy and Srikanth Reddy in Sarvepalli Nellore District.
High Drama At Police Station On Saturday midnight MPDO Sarala went to rural police station to lodge a complaint against the MLA. Her Complaint wasnt taken as there were no officers in the station at that time. MPDO remained in the station for 5 hours until 4.20 am to offer the complaint to SI Sambasiva Rao.
When the matter came to his notice CM Jaganmohan Reddy made it clear to DGP Gautham Sawang that all are equal before the law and anybody who behaves inappropriately won't be spared. That is when Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy was taken into custody.
