It’s already known that some of the biggest companies in the world have been moving towards AI revolution and they’re taking several progressive measures with regard to the same. Now, Accenture has taken a pretty big leap in this direction.

Global consulting giant Accenture has introduced a major policy shift that directly links employee promotions to the use of Artificial Intelligence tools.

Under the new rule, senior managers and associate directors will be evaluated based on how actively they adopt and use the company’s internal AI platforms. Simply put, employees who do not regularly use AI tools may find it difficult to secure promotions.

The company has reportedly started tracking how frequently leaders log into AI systems and integrate them into their daily work.

This usage data will now play an important role in performance reviews and promotion discussions. Accenture describes this approach as encouraging “regular adoption” of AI across leadership levels.

However, the policy currently applies mainly to senior leadership roles. Certain employees in specific regions, including parts of Europe and some US government contract teams, are said to be exempt for now.

This move reflects Accenture’s larger strategy to position itself as an AI driven organization. The company has invested heavily in artificial intelligence and wants its workforce to fully embrace AI powered solutions while delivering services to clients.

Industry experts say this decision signals a broader shift in the corporate world, where AI skills are becoming essential for career growth and leadership advancement.
