YCP MLA Highlights How Politics Changed Compared To Earlier!
Balineni Srinivasa Reddy used some strong comments. He asked what is there in the Assembly except for abuse in the current picture.
There is a popular opinion that politics lost its charm with people in the spectrum sometimes crossing the line and launching personal attacks on the opponents. We have seen this a few times. Former Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu also highlighted this to say that the Politics are not like before.
In particular, in Andhra Pradesh we see leaders using objectionable language and foul language to target the opponents. Even the personal matters of the leaders are also touched to target them which is not at all required. Now a former Minister took the courage to show the ugly picture of AP politics.
Former Minister, MLA Balineni Srinivasa Reddy took part in the statue inauguration of Finance Minister-Chief Minister of combined Andhra Pradesh Konjeti Rosaiah. On the occasion, he walked down memory lane and recalled the fond memories he had with Rosaiah. He also drew a comparison between current politics with that of the old days.
Balineni Srinivasa Reddy used some strong comments. He asked what is there in the Assembly except for abuse in the current picture. Everything is ruined now. He even called himself blessed to be the Minister in the cabinet of Rosaiah.
Balineni Srinivasa Reddy said that when Rosaiah was speaking everyone wanted to sit in the Assembly which is not the case now. Everything is ruined and there is nothing but the abuses in the house, he said.
There is nothing wrong with what Balineni said. Leaders are targeted on their personal issues. YCP rebel MLA Undavalli Sridevi openly highlighted this. Pawan Kalyan is a classic example of this. Every time he has to be targeted politically his marriage topic is raised which is not needed.
The former Minister highlighted an incident that happened in his Ministry. He held the Mines ministry back then. When permission was given to a company, Veerappa Moily was a Central Minister from Karnataka. When the issue of giving permissions to a company reached the Governor Rosaiah Garu spoke to the Governor and said that Balineni is like his son and he won't make any mistakes and what happened might have been the mistake of officers.
