Senior BRS Leader,Daughter To Take Congress Party?

After the elections, the BRS leaders are showing interest in joining the ruling Congress. In the terminology of the party leaders doors were opened and the inflow into the Congress has been massive. From MLAs to MPs they are joining the Congress. A few leaders joined the BJP as well. But more leaders are with Congress.

Now it is said that a senior leader might also join the Congress along with his daughter who is the Mayor. Reports say that the date was also fixed as the senior leader might wear a Congress shawl on the 30th of this month. If this happens then it would be a big development.

It has been widely reported that senior BRS leader K Keshava Rao aka KK might take the Congress route. The MP might join the Congress party along with her daughter Gadwal Vijayalakshmi. It is said that KK met KCR and he might have sought permission for the same.

The political talk is that Congress is focusing on getting stronger and a special focus is kept on the Hyderabad region. If the Mayor joins the party then it becomes strong in the region. Having a senior like KK is always an advantage.

On the other hand, KK going into the Congress fold is like homecoming for him as he belongs to the grand old party. KK had a long association with the Congress party in the combined state. The MP held various positions in the Congress party including the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief. Later he joined the BRS. Cut to a decade MP KK is said to be on the verge of joining the Congress back.

It has to be mentioned here that earlier BRS faced similar scenes as the leaders in other parties joined the party which won two consecutive terms. Cut to now the tables turned around and the leaders are leaving the party.
