It is known that left parties-CPI and CPM supported the BRS in the Munugode by polls and the ruling party won the polls.
The list of candidates for the Telangana elections was announced the other day. The intensity around the issue is still intact. People are still talking about the list. Aspirants who hoped to get tickets to contest elections faced a big shock. It is said that the MLAs who were denied tickets are looking at other parties.
If there is anyone who was in deep shock other than the legislators denied tickets then it has to be the communist parties. The communist parties were very confident that a few seats would be granted to them.
It is known that left parties-CPI and CPM supported the BRS in the Munugode by polls and the ruling party won the polls. Later, the left parties said that the alliance will continue even after the Munugode polls. So many felt that the left parties would get some seats.
But the recently announced list cleared all the doubts and said that there is no space for the left parties in the seat allotment. This came as a big blow to CPI and CPM. The representatives of the parties came together for a crucial meeting.
The left parties are now alleging that BRS has a friendship with the BJP and said that it is going to harm BRS and not them. Talking about the fight the BRS posed with the BJP, the left parties asked what had happened to that now.
CPI State Secretary Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao and CPM State Secretary Tammineni Veerabadram spoke to the media and asked why KCR did not follow the rules of friendship. They asked whether the BRS would win the Munugode polls without their support.
