Where Special Court Granted Chandrababu's Custody To CID?

The CID sought five days of custody. But the special court said that the custody can be granted for just a couple of days.

Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu will not forget today for the rest of his life. The hopes of getting relief in the AP Skill Development went for a toss as he faced back-to-back shocks in the case. These developments increased the intensity of the political heat in the state.

First, his remand was extended by a couple of days. Next, the quash petition he filed against the FIR and the orders were dismissed by the High Court which was a hammer blow. A big shock came to Chandrababu when the special court granted his custody for the CID.

CID which has been probing the matter moved the court seeking the custody of Chandrababu Naidu. However, the CID sought five days of custody. But the special court said that the custody can be granted for just a couple of days.

As he was given for custody many have doubts about where he will be kept and what are the conditions that were listed by the court. The Court said that Chandrababu Naidu should be questioned in the Rajahmundry Prison itself tomorrow and day after tomorrow.

Having directed the CID to question CBN in the prison, the authorities were reportedly directed to not release the pictures and vidoes of the investigation. After the custody, he will be produced before the court via video conference. The timings for questioning are fixed between 9:30 AM 5: and 00 PM.

It is being said that Chandrababu's lawyers will also be present during the sessions. However, Chandrababu is likely to answer all the questions.

As he was given for two-day custody, the CID authorities are expected to frame questions that can derive crucial information about the scam. Let us wait and see what information they can get.
