CBN's New Job To CID: Probe On 2014-19 Liquor Policy!

It is known that TDP and Janasena accused the previous government led by Jagan of various wrongdoings and the party targeted the YCP aggressively. The same pattern was implemented in the campaign too. Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan said that they would look into the wrongdoings.

Everyone knows the sensation around the liquor policy in the state. YCP is accused of not keeping the brands available and making only selected brands available. Another allegation is that digital payments were not allowed and only cash was accepted at the shops.

Now Chandrababu Naidu put CID on a new job to probe the liquor policy between 2014-19. The Chief Minister said that in the last five years, liquor sales worth lakhs of crores happened which says that it is a very big scam. We will unearth the truth in the CID probe, he said.

The TDP boss said that there is a need to bring out the truth in the issue and they will refer the case to ED too. As cash transactions happened at a big level all the measures would be taken. The government is ready to take action for the safety of the public, he observed.

Brands that we don't see in other states were made available in the state like Boom Boom beer and others. Noted brands were not available. In the campaign, Chandrababu Naidu said that the brands were sent out of the state and only selected brands were made available.

Liquor brands that are available in the country were made to leave the state. The staff were appointed without orders. The popular brands were not available and local brands were encouraged. I don't drink. I was told about brand names like Boom Boom beer, Super Strong, and Superior Strong and these are just examples he added.
