It's been over 40 days since former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu was arrested and sent to prison. He was arrested by the state Criminal Investigation Department(CID) in connection with the AP Skill Development Scam. Since his arrest, the TDP chief has been facing back-to-bak blows.

It looks like Chandrababu will not have a relief any time soon. The veteran politician faced two big blows in different courts. Both the Supreme Court and ACB Court shocked the TDP boss.

The High Court said that it could not hear the anticipatory bail petition as it is pending in the Supreme Court. Sidharth Luthra represented Chandrababu Naidu in the court and argued that he should be given an interim bail for two weeks given his health.

But the CID lawyer counted this and said that the Supreme Court said no to bail in the case despite the lawyers telling the court that Chandrababu’s health is not well.

After hearing the arguments of both sides, the High Court said that it cannot grant the interim bail as the case is pending with the Supreme Court.

On the other hand, the ACB Court shocked the ex-CM by extending the custody by 14 days. As the remand given by the court comes to an end today, he was presented before the judge virtually. The ACB Court extended his custody till November 1.

During the same, Chandrababu Naidu is said to have talked about the concerns he has about his health. In response, the ACB court asked him to tell in writing the doubts he has. The authorities were directed to forward the letter from Chandrababu Naidu.
