In Florida, OpenAI itself flagged months of ChatGPT conversations where a man detailed plans to harm his ex-girlfriend & reported him to the FBI. He pleaded guilty, got 8 years probation.

This man from Florida had been reportedly, looking to hurt his girlfriend and even murder her as he checked these details with ChatGPT. The AI model understood the intention and immediately notified the authorities about what is happening

On the other hand, we have another shocking incident that has happened in Massachusetts, where a 17-year-old is charged with murdering his mother and brother after prosecutors say he used ChatGPT to explore fantasy stories about killing his family.

It is evident that people have started to use ChatGPT and other leading platforms for their own wicked reasons, and it should be a matter of time before certain regulations are put in place.

People are commenting that ChatGPT and other AI platforms must find policing grounds and immediately identify them to the author authorities when a user searches extremely disturbing topics.
