Unexpected Shock: Junior Chegondi To Join Ruling YSRCP?

As the elections are approaching the political heat is increasing in Andhra Pradesh. The major parties are adding intensity to their election preparations by holding massive meetings. Looking at a few developments it appears that the politics are revolving around the Kapu community. The Kapu leaders are expressing dissatisfaction with Pawan Kalyan.

Pawan Kalyan saying yes to just 24 seats as part of the alliance is not going well with the Kapu leaders who are not happy with this. Veteran Kapu leader Chegondi Harirama Jogaiah has been on a spree of firing letters at Pawan Kalyan of late.

In a series of letters, he has been blasting Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan on seat sharing and not stressing on the Chief Minister's post. Recently he warned Pawan Kalyan to share his stand on the alliance at the TDP-Janasena Janda Public Meeting At Tadepalligudem or else he has to show what he can do.

Cut to a few days, a big shock came as Chegondi's son Surya Prakash is expected to take the YCP route. It is said that Surya Prakash will meet Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy soon and the news will be announced officially.

Surya Prakash joined the Janasena party in 2018 and took an active part in the campaign and other activities. However, it has been reported that Surya Prakash is not active in the party and its activities due to various reasons.

On top of this, there is no response to the consecutive letters fired by Chegondi asking for clarity from Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan. All these factors might have resulted in Junior Chegondi taking the big decision of parting ways with the Janasena party and taking the route of the ruling YSRCP.
