The recent Karnataka election result is a game changer for the grand old Congress party. The massive win not only increased the morale support of the party but also gave a ray of hope that it could pose a big fight to the other parties. With this, the party shifted focus to the poll-bound states.

Ahead of the elections, the Congress party is said to have taken a decision that would fill its treasury. If everything goes well, then the ticket aspirants who want to try their luck in the upcoming elections would make the party see a massive incoming of money.
As per the media reports, the Congress party leadership is likely to propose an idea that says that the aspirants should be a certain amount along with their applications. For how aspirants pay an amount based on their community for exams, they have to pay the amount.
It is said that negotiations are going on about this and the amount is not fixed. If everything goes well and the body comes up with an idea, then the maximum amount the aspirants would have to pay would be Rs 50,000. If this happens then the Congress party’s treasury will have a big amount.
On average, not less than 10 aspirants will be there for every seat in the state and they would get lakhs of amount from just one seat. There are as many 119 constituencies in the state and this says the party might get a big amount with just the applications.
Paying 25,000 is not a big deal for the aspirants given the cost of the elections as a big amount is spent on the elections. The recent Munugode elections are an example of the cost of the elections. It is said that it is one of the costliest elections the nation saw in recent times. So a candidate paying Rs 25k is not an issue.
