Time flew fast as Joe Biden and Donald Trump came together for a debate again. The last time they debated was in 2020 ahead of the elections and cut to 2024 the same happened. The two leaders had a fierce debate covering various issues. They placed their arguments during the debate.
If we look at what happened at the debate, serving President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump gave their views on various issues. Observers say that Donald Trump had a slight edge over Joe Biden.
When Biden tried to mock Trump that he lost the last elections and also shed light on the cases including physical intimacy with a porn star. However, Donald Trump did not take any back steps. He hit back at Joe Biden saying that his son is dealing with a gun case and the President even tried to save his son.
The two leaders had an intense argument over the economy. While Joe Biden said that Donald Trump's administration impacted the economy as only the rich were benefited and others were left to face issues. Biden even accused Donald Trump of failure to create employment.
Donald Trump gave a harsh reaction to this and said that the economy is not in a good shape in the country. He highlighted his views of helping the locals with the jobs and said that illegal migrants were given employment leaving others.
Donald Trump came down severely on Joe Biden on the foreign policy. He listed issues like the Taliban row and the Ukraine War. He said that Russia's Putin was encouraged by Joe Biden to take on Ukraine. He blamed the President for the disasters.
To this Joe Biden said that the Taliban killed the common people in Afghanistan under Donald Trump's tenure and said Trump used ill language against the forces that lost lives in the war.
Joe Biden made his stand on the Israel-Hamas row and said that they are with Israel. He blamed Hamas for what had happened and said that they were not coming forward to settle the issue and bring the situation under control. He said that he is continuing ties with Israel to deal with this.
Interestingly, Donald Trump also supported Israel in this. However, he alleged that Joe Biden is behaving like a Palestinian.
