Now everyone is talking about the threat artificial intelligence poses as we have seen the sensation of a deep fake video of an actress went viral. From common people to celebrities everyone is concerned about the danger of AI and wants strict action against such practices.
Recently an edited video of Rashmika Mandanna went viral which raised several concerns. Celebrities are coming forward to stand in support of the actress in this tough time.
Now it appears that even politicians are not safe from AI and deepfake threats. It is known that Telangana will go for elections in a few weeks. Following this deep fake videos of leaders are said to be doing rounds on social media and people are worried about this.
As per the reports, fake videos of TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy, Telangana Minister Malla Reddy, and YSRT chief Y.S. Sharmila Reddy were created and are now doing rounds on social media.
The edited video of Revanth Reddy was created in a way that he was breathing fire on the ruling BRS ahead of the elections as per the reports. Malla Reddy's video was created as he was saying you will not get jobs if you vote for KCR.
YS Sharmila's video is even more concerning. It is said that the video was created as if she was creating awareness of tobacco abuse and a famous ad was recreated for this.
AI was created for the betterment of the humans. But a few people are taking the wrong advantage of it and are raising concerns. Experts say that strong laws should be enacted to deal with such content or else the damage they create would be ever lasting.
