Things have changed in politics compared to earlier. As we are living in the era of social media there is a need for politicians to be careful about what they do and speak. Or else they would land in trouble. This was proven many times. As another example, an MP candidate landed in a big controversy over his viral video.
As the D-date for the Lok Sabha elections is fast approaching the parties and candidates are in a rush in giving the final touch to the campaign. But the campaign of an MP candidate took an unexpected path as he reportedly slapped a woman.
Nizamabad is the sitting MP seat of the BJP represented by D. Arvind. Congress candidate T. Jeevan Reddy will lock horns with him. Reddy is busy campaigning and faced an unexpected situation. A woman reportedly said she would vote for Flower(BJP) which made him angry and he allegedly slapped him.
When the Congress leader was campaigning he came across a lady labourer. She reportedly said that she did not get the pension and she voted for the Congress in the Assembly polls. Having said that, she told him she would vote for the Flower.
While the video which is now doing rounds on social media shows he might have slapped the woman, a section of netizens say that he might have not slapped her and just touched her cheeks. The reason they are giving is that the candidate and other Congress leaders who accompanied him smiled when this happened.
