This is the first time that current and former Presidents are in the race for the elections. The two contested the last elections too. However, Donald was the President then.
It is a tradition to host a debate between the candidates ahead of the elections. Following the same Joe Biden and Donald Trump came together for the debate and gave their thoughts on various issues. However many say that Donald Trump dominated Joe Biden in the debate slightly.
Both leaders gave their best in placing their arguments on crucial issues like employment, economy, foreign policy, immigration, abortion rights, and the Israel-Hamas war.
They made sure that they dominate the opponent and have an advantage. While Joe Biden accused Donald Trump of unemployment during his tenure only the rich people benefited while others were ignored. Donald Trump hit back saying that Joe Biden is trying to save his son who is facing a gun case.
However, people are saying that Donald Trump dominated Joe Biden in the debate and they are citing a few examples. Donald Trump had more minutes in the debates to speak, unlike Joe Biden. Donald Trump spoke for 23 minutes and 6 seconds while Biden spoke for just 18 minutes and 26 seconds.
Not just the number of minutes spoken during the debate, Joe Biden slowed down a bit. Of late, we have been hearing a lot about his age and he is freezing in the middle of the conversation. A few times others came to his rescue while he froze.
The same happened at the debate too. While Donald Trump dominated Joe Biden, it is said that a few Democratic party leaders are demanding he stay away from the race with this. However, experts say that this might not be possible ahead of the Presidential polls.
