Murali has fallen out of favour with the TRS and resigned from service. Later, the YSRCP government in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh requisitioned his services in improving the educational system. After his stint, he came back to Telangana. Since then, he has been questioning the BRS policies on power, education and irrigation.
On Wednesday, he went over to TPCC head office at the Gandhi Bhavan and attended a meeting of the Congress party’s manifesto committee. He also advanced several suggestions and suggested some key changes to the manifesto of the Congress Party. The meeting was attended by former deputy CM Damodara Rajanarsimha, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and others.
The committee is headed by former minister and Manthani MLA Duddilla Sridhar Babu. Murali, who is known for his anti-BJP and anti-BRS stance, is a big critic of KCR’s irrigation policies, also met Rahul Gandhi during his padayatra across the country.
