High Court Hands Over Massive Blow To TDP Chief!

The High Court gave the verdict and dismissed the three petitions. This can be seen as a hammer blow to the TDP boss who is expecting a big relief.

Monday is a Big Day for Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu who has been facing a tough time with the alleged AP Skill Development scam. He was not only arrested but also sent to the remand. This is the first time that Chandrababu has been arrested in his long-standing political career.

Chandrababu Naidu filed anticipatory bail petitions in three different cases and the verdicts were reserved. The High Court gave the verdict and dismissed the three petitions. This can be seen as a hammer blow to the TDP boss who is expecting a big relief.

On the other hand, the ACB Court might give the verdict today. Earlier, the court adjourned the hearing to today. The custody petition filed by the CID and the bail petition filed by Chandrababu Naidu will be heard and the verdict will be given by the court.

Looking at the three cases in which the petitions are filed. One is Inner Ring Road, while the Fiber Net and Angallu are the other cases.

Inner Ring Road Case: It is known that Amarvatio was proposed as the capital city in the previous government. There are allegations that there might be a few irregularities in the alignments. The case came to light when YCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy filed a complaint. While Chandrababu is A-1, former Minister Narayana is A-2 in the case. Recently, Nara Lokesh was named A-14.

Fiber Net Scam: In the previous government, the FiberNet project was started intending to provide Internet and telephone services to households. The CID is saying there are irregularities of over Rs 100 crores and the tender was allotted to the firm by fraudulent means. CID is alleging that the last date of the tender was extended to benefit the firm. It is said that there is a scam of around Rs 115 crores.

Angallu Violence: A couple of months back, the TDP chief started a program to visit various projects in the state. However, the Angallu region saw a violent crash. Chandrababu Naidu, Bhumireddy Ramagopal Reddy, former minister N Amarnath Reddy, former MLAs D Ramesh, Shajahan Basha, and others were named as the accused.
