New AI Laws Coming In India: What's Happening?

It is already known that the reach of artificial intelligence has grown massively over the last few years. This is largely due to the fact that people are starting to increasingly depend on artificial intelligence for day-to-day activities.

Now we are hearing an interesting piece of information as the Indian government is contemplating a new AI regulation for the country.

It is being established in principal that the Indian authorities are contemplating AI laws, which are likely to come to effect very soon. This is going to be a role book or basic framework for the method of operations of AI in the country starting soon.

It needs to be noted that several currents have been using AI for banking frauds and morphed pictures on social media, which have been affecting privacy of the common folk. So this new set of regulation that is likely to be enforced by the Indian government could be very strict on these regulations.

It has become a standard practice for people to abuse AI for antisocial reasons, and this risk has been growing almost on a daily basis these days.

The new rule book that could be in effect for AI usage in India could cover several topics, including medical, financial, art and other entities. This framework is currently under preparation and only time will tell what would be the actual parameters of the same.

The usage of AI for daily activities got largely be restricted and regulated by the authorities now and this is very much a need of the hour now.
