Trump Feb 20 Rule: Indian women in US want early c-section
This has now led to a peculiar atmosphere in the United States as hospitals are observing an increased demand for C-section surgeries.
It is known that the new president of the United States, Donald J Trump signed a new executive order, which cancel the birth, US passport and citizenship. This essentially means that the birthright citizenship act that was in effect all these years is no longer valid.
However, the catch here is that this regulation will come to effect from February 20. Meaning various enough time for pregnant Indian woman to deliver babies by then and make use of the existing birthright citizen act.
This has now led to a peculiar atmosphere in the United States as hospitals are observing an increased demand for C-section surgeries. Apparently, a similar trend is being observed in several hospitals across the country now.
Apparently, the Indian woman who are currently being treated in the maternal wards in the United States are pushing the medical experts and doctors to carry on with the C-section procedure for their pregnancies.
The desperate attempt here is to deliver the babies by February 20 in order to get benefited by the existing birthright citizenship act and automatically grant US passport to their children. As a result, there is an increased demand for C-section deliveries across the United States over the last few days.
This is really desperate attempt from the Indian population in the country to somehow get benefited by the citizenship act, which will no longer be in effect from February 20.
