Big Win For Indian Students Affected By OPT Scam!

The United States is the dream destination of Indians as students prefer the nation over others. However, a few students faced a big blow when their visas were denied creating obstacles for them to land in the US. Now they were told good news as they were allowed to enter the US.

Earlier an alleged Optional Practical Training (OPT) fraud came to light as a few companies cheated students. With this, some of the companies were blacklisted by the concerned authorities. The fraudulent acts of the companies affected students.

With this, their visas were denied. This made around 90 foreign nationals including that of Indians moved the Court to challenge this. Their big fight helped them see a happy outcome. The US district court said yes to students coming to the US and the obstacles to their admission were also cleared.

This cleared the way for the students to go back to the US. This helps the students to continue their studies and get job opportunities as well. This is a piece of news to cheer about given the hard time they faced so far.

Talking about Optional Practical Training (OPT), it is a plan that helps foreign students coming to the US to get work experience. Students often pick STEM as they can have an extension of two years.

When the OPT fraud came to light, Attorney Jonathan Wasden advised students to be cautious with the companies and stay away from companies that charge money for anything.
